Our take
I bought this single 15 lb dumbbell expecting a simple rubber hex but got a mix of specs from the listing. The rubber encasing is okay, though it smells a bit out of the box. The star-lock collars are a bonus if you want to add plates, but they slide a little if not tightened. Grip is decent thanks to mild knurling. At $33.56 for one, it's priced okay for what you get, but you can find similar quality for less. Not a bad piece, but not remarkable either.
