I got this 1 lb York Barbell dumbbell for wrist rehab. At $11.99, it's not cheap for a single pound, but it's well-made with a cast iron core and pink vinyl coating. The 12-inch length is surprisingly long – it's longer than some 5 lb dumbbells, which feels odd. The weight is almost negligible, so it's only useful for very light movements. If you need a 1 lb weight for therapy, it works, but most people will find it too light.
